Angela Cavalluzzo

Angela is a Registered Social Worker who has worked with young children, youth, adults, and families in various settings (family health team, children’s mental health centres, Child Welfare). Areas of specialization for Angela include depression, anxiety, family issues, parenting concerns, fertility issues, coping with having a child/relative diagnosed with a mental health condition, caregiver stress/burnout, bullying, self-esteem issues, emotional regulation concerns and employment (impacted by mental health) issues.

Her approach is non-judgmental, supportive, and is tailored to the client’s individual needs, goals, and is informed by her training in evidence-based methods including Cognitive Behavioural, strengths-based, Dialectical Behavioural, and Solution-focused therapies.

Qualifications: Angela holds a Bachelor’s degree in Labour Relations from McMaster University, a Bachelor of Applied Arts degree in Radio in Television Arts from Ryerson University, and a Master’s degree in Social Work from Wilfrid Laurier University with a specialization in individuals, families, and groups.

Location: Brampton and Mississauga

Availability: Tuesdays: 12:00-8:00 pm, Fridays: 12:00-8:00 pm
