Caroline is a Registered Social Worker (MSW, RSW) with experience working with children, youth and families. She supports clients that are facing childhood anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, parenting challenges, traumatic life events and issues with family transitions, adjustment to school, and peer relationships.
She uses an integrated practice approach (interventions from CBT, DBT , Narrative, Solution-Focused Brief, Play Therapy, EFFT) that is grounded in an attachment-based framework.
Her goal is to help clients explore the continuum between change and acceptance, by balancing the need for targeted strategies with meaningful reflective work . She offers a safe place to develop different perspectives on presenting problems, and to make sense of big emotions so children and parents can feel brave and empowered in the their daily life. With her compassionate, strength-based and warm approach, she walks alongside her clients to help them find their way back to their authentic selves.
Caroline completed her Master’s degree at University of Toronto and is registered with the Ontario College of Social Workers. She remains engaged in her professional development and is currently enrolled in the 5 Year Training Program at the Gestalt Institute of Toronto.
