Dalia Wallang (MA. B.Ed., RP)
Dalia is a friendly, warm, compassionate, and dedicated Psychotherapist, providing strength- based, solution focused intervention and crisis support to clients. She possesses a wide range of clinical experiences in conducting Biopsychosocial assessments, developing Psychotherapeutic treatment plans, providing psychotherapy services to adolescents and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, PTSD, interpersonal conflict, low self- esteem, domestic violence, abuse, anger, stress management, grief, workplace stress, health recovery, return to work goals and other complex mental health conditions. She possesses a strong background in short term, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, narrative, role play and strength based approach in working with clients in developing resiliency from different client referral sources within the academic, EAP, community and private agencies. Experienced in conducting risk assessments, providing psychoeducation resources and coping tools to assist in crisis as well as in setting goals, using solution focused therapy approach towards adjustment and recovery.

Over 5 years of clinical experience in providing brief psychotherapy to EAP clients and to WSIB, STD, LTD and Auto Insurance MVA clients. Over 5 years experience as a Guidance Cousellor, with hands on experience in providing various counseling services to a population of 1,500 students as well as counseling special needs children and adults. Over 2 years experience in counselling refugees from different countries of the world, integrating them into the Canadian community.
Educational Background: Bachelor of Arts, (Honors in Psychology); Master of Arts (Clinical Psychology); and Bachelor of Education.
Good standing with the College of Registered Psychotherapists.
Registered with Ontario College of Teachers and member of OAMHP.
