Sun is a registered social worker who has completed a B.Sc. in Psychology & Sociolegal Studies and Masters in Social Work.
She has worked with youth and adult populations in the shelter system, supported families in community health programs, and provided counselling and case management services to individuals within Employee and Family Assistance Programs. Within brief solution-focused settings, she has provided crisis intervention, psychoeducational support, consultation for management professionals, and counselling support for a wide range of life circumstances.
Among young adult populations, Sun has mentored students in skills workshops and provided support in areas of wellness and coping. Sun works with clients to cultivate a supportive and collaborative environment, using strengths-based approaches to help clients find clarity and move toward their own goals.
