Workshop Content:


Why are Effective Listening Skills Important? – Participants engage in a discussion about the significance of adept listening skills.


Distinguishing Hearing from Listening – We explore the distinction between hearing and active listening.


Vibrant Citrus Exercise – Participants participate in a dynamic activity that vividly illustrates key reasons behind ineffective listening.


Basic Listening Approach – Participants are equipped with a straightforward yet impactful method for enhancing their listening skills.


Categories of Information – This segment extends the basic listening technique by delving into the three categories of information that effective listeners absorb.


Listening Practicum – Participants collaborate in pairs to practice the simple listening technique, offering each other feedback and improving their proficiency.


Engaging in Active Listening – Building on the foundational listening method, we elevate it by introducing a structured framework for active listening skills.
