Stress management

This workshop for stress management has been crafted to aid your participants in recognizing the origins and repercussions of stress, as well as guiding them in acquiring the skills necessary to effectively handle stress in their personal lives.


Workshop Content:


These training resources on stress management will equip your participants with the skills, knowledge, and awareness needed to foster a positive approach to addressing stress.


Recognizing Stress - This module raises participants' awareness of the historical context of stress and its connection to the stressors prevalent in the modern environment.


Understanding Our Body's Stress Response - An engaging activity delves into the physiological and psychological dimensions of stress, exploring how these factors can contribute to illnesses and unhealthy lifestyle choices.


The Mitchell Method of Relaxation - Participants have the opportunity to practice a structured and optimistic relaxation technique known as the Mitchell Method.


Stress Coping Model - A lucid model is introduced, shedding light on the progression of stress and suggesting strategies that can interrupt this cycle, leading to better coping.


Dealing with Daily Hassles - This module underscores the pivotal role of daily hassles in generating stress. Common daily stressors are identified, along with a range of techniques for overcoming or avoiding them.


Navigating Life Events - Participants delve into major life events, considering their transitional nature, potential positive aspects, and the impact of perception on personal experiences.


Harnessing Positive Self-Talk - This module delves into self-talk, guiding participants away from negative self-talk patterns and

toward cultivating a cycle of positive self-talk.


Prioritizing for Stress Reduction - Participants learn to identify and balance conflicting demands, while gaining an appreciation for discerning what truly matters to reduce stress.


Establishing Stability Zones - This module empowers participants to define their own stability zones and discover how to effectively leverage them in stress reduction.


Utilizing the Wheel of Strife - A helpful tool is introduced to increase awareness of stressors, enabling participants to adopt techniques for overcoming them.


Building Supportive Networks - Participants explore individuals who offer support and aid in stress reduction, while honing methods to positively nurture these relationships.


All Stressed Out - This interactive session reviews the course content in a playful manner, employing a "negative review" approach.


The Benson Method – The course concludes by introducing the Benson Method, a straightforward yet effective relaxation technique that leaves participants feeling refreshed after the session.
