Compensation:$32.82–$34.87/hour or $68,265–$72,529/year
The Family Enhancement Centre (TFEC) is intentionally growing our team of Indigenous mental health professionals to work with First Nations, Inuit, and Métis (FNIM) clients. Mental health is always a priority for both individuals and communities, and TFEC is seeking professionals who understand and respect Indigenous cultures and values through lived experience.

The Family Enhancement Centre is a full-service counselling centre supporting children, youth, adults, couples, and families. Over the past 19 years, we have expanded geographically and grown our services to include groups, on-site community programs, and corporate services.

Job Responsibilities
- Provide clinical psychotherapy to Indigenous children, youth, adults, couples, and families.
- Deliver counselling services via phone and secure video conferencing.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Facilitate open and closed psycho-educational groups.
- Complete professional-quality clinical documentation within three business days.
Job Requirements
- Must have experience working with Indigenous populations
- Minimum of three years of direct counselling experience.
- Strong knowledge of counselling theory and practice with Indigenous children, youth, individuals, couples, and families.
- Training and experience in one or more therapeutic modalities such as EMDR, EFT, CBT, DBT, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Healing Wheel, or Seven Grandfather Teachings.
- Ability to work independently with complex cases.
- Demonstrated crisis intervention skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Strong time management and organizational skills.
- Fluency in additional languages is considered an asset.
Education & Credentials
- Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) or equivalent (preferred).
- Registered Clinical Social Worker with the British Columbia College of Social Workers
- Clear Vulnerable Sector Police Check.
