Managing work culture

How can we characterize culture? Frequently encapsulated as "The norms governing our behaviors within this environment," an organization's culture comprises multiple components.


This workshop revolves around the facets of the Cultural Web, employing a set of stimulating exercises to discern the prevailing workplace culture. After identifying this culture, participants are then motivated to explore avenues for initiating alterations where necessary.


This workshop is tailored for leaders, managers, and senior personnel within the organization who possess the capacity to instigate transformation.


Workshop Content:


The Cultural Web – An in-depth exploration of the distinct components contributing to a workplace's culture.


Cultural Mapping Activities – Participants delve deeply into their own workplace, present their discoveries, and establish which aspects warrant cessation, initiation, and continuation.


Adopting an Adaptable Management Style – To drive change, this session delves into the rationale behind people's conduct and identifies the most fitting management approach.


Constructing a Framework for Culture Transformation – The preceding activities lead participants to formulate their personalized blueprint for effecting change.


Progress Review Meeting – Participants are introduced to the concept of hosting a subsequent session to report on advancements made in enhancing the culture since completing the course.


These training materials revolve around a series of interactive workshop exercises that channel participants' focus toward organizational enhancements. The content is engaging and participatory, featuring discussions and focus group interactions.


Obectives:


Upon completion of this Managing Workplace Culture workshop, participants will have the capacity to:


  • Articulate the six distinct elements constituting workplace culture
  • Associate these components with their own work environment and depict the prevailing culture
  • Determine precise actions to Initiate, Cease, and Sustain in their pursuit of enhancing their workplace culture
