Ramaljeet kaur
Registered psychotherapist
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with over five years of experience supporting individuals experiencing mental health and addiction challenges. I have worked with a wide range of clients from diverse cultural backgrounds and am committed to providing compassionate, culturally responsive, and trauma-informed care. My practice is grounded in cultural humility, recognizing each client’s unique experiences, values, and strengths while creating a safe, respectful, and collaborative therapeutic environment.
I am committed to providing culturally safe, trauma-informed, and client-centred care. I have experience supporting First Nations clients in a residential treatment setting, where I helped individuals process trauma, build resilience, and overcome personal challenges. This experience strengthened my understanding of the importance of cultural humility, trust, and recognizing the impact of historical and intergenerational trauma.
In addition, I have completed training in trauma-informed practice with a culturally sensitive lens, which has enhanced my ability to provide respectful, compassionate, and culturally responsive care. I remain committed to ongoing learning and collaborating with Indigenous communities to ensure my practice continues to meet the unique needs of First Nations and Inuit clients.

Ramal love cooking. It’s one of the ways she slows down, gets creative, and recharges outside of work
For Ramal, being by the water is a reminder that life doesn’t always have to move at the same pace.
When she’s not in the therapy room, you might find Ramal in the garden, happily tending to her plants.
A little purring, a lot of personality, and plenty of unconditional love.
